Great customer service, transfer to and from ski base, also to and from train station and Main Street.
Their restaurant was good too. On his first day, Sandro did great at the bar! The family room was cozy and had an amazing view of the mountains. Had an amazing play room for kids to enjoy! The breakfast buffet had a great variety of items to choose from. Totally recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunstar. I saw some reviews from regular guests (and spoke to some regular guests) who said standards have dropped. However our experience was very good. The hotel is superb for families without kids ruining the relaxing holiday atmosphere. Service was excellent. Special shout out to Oliver, who went above and beyond. Always engaging and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. Habibi too was keen to make our experience as good as possible. The restaurant is ok. No complaints but I wouldn’t rush back to eat there where there are other options in Arosa. Location is not ski in ski out. But there are regular hotel minibuses or local free buses to get you to slopes and around. I walked with my 4 year old to dinner in local restaurants each evening, so it’s not that out of the way. There are also lovely walking / tobogganing paths nearby. Sauna area very well maintained and stunning relaxation area.
