Bear in mind that from summer 2018 there will be another spectacular attraction in the beautiful mountains of Arosa! The "Arosa Bärenland (Bear Sanctuary)" will be opening its doors and inviting young and old to observe bears from a big viewing platform.
Bärenland is easy and convenient to reach on the Weisshorn cable car. It has its own restaurant and there will also be guided tours available. Younger visitors can romp around on the "Bear School" playground next door and learn more about the animals.
Managed in collaboration with the animal welfare organisation "FOUR PAWS", the bear sanctuary will provide an appropriate habitat where five bears rescued from poor living conditions can end their days. The project is part of a meaningful and sustainable animal protection programme.
