Alpine summer in Arosa

So you want to create some amazing holiday memories? Arosa makes it possible - because there's no chance of getting bored here!

Explore this varied hiking paradise, with over 200 km of well-maintained and signposted footpaths and trails, including a special myths and legends walk, a hike to a 2900 m summit and an exciting themed walk.

Numerous routes for bikers around Arosa and free bike transport on the Hörnli gondola cable car are bound to get any biker's pulse racing. The trails are tremendous fun to ride, for both beginners and more advanced riders.

Golfers are likely to find that the 18-hole Maran golf course, with its wonderful views of the Arosa mountains, becomes their favourite course. The open-air pool on the Untersee lake is beautiful and secluded, a romantic place for relaxation and dreaming.

Bärenland (Bear Sanctuary)

Bear in mind that from summer 2018 there will be another spectacular attraction in the beautiful mountains of Arosa! The "Arosa Bärenland (Bear Sanctuary)" will be opening its doors and inviting young and old to observe bears from a big viewing platform.

Bärenland is easy and convenient to reach on the Weisshorn cable car. It has its own restaurant and there will also be guided tours available. Younger visitors can romp around on the "Bear School" playground next door and learn more about the animals.

Managed in collaboration with the animal welfare organisation "FOUR PAWS", the bear sanctuary will provide an appropriate habitat where five bears rescued from poor living conditions can end their days. The project is part of a meaningful and sustainable animal protection programme.

Further information and facts about the Bear Sanctuary will be available shortly.
